Last week I had the bright idea to have a dinner party. I don't know why I guess its because I want to be like Joan from the show girlfriends and I like throwing parties! I so underestimated how much work goes into a good dinner party.The guest list was hard because I have alot of friends and I couldn't invite them all because then it wouldn't be a dinner party it would be a party! I only had one week to plan everything and one day to buy everything I needed! And since I'm single I didn't have enough dishes or any table cloths etc ,etc so I had to buy all those things! If I didn't have my friend Mel there to help me with the shopping cooking and decorating I would have been screwed! The only obstacle we really had was making sure the people we invited actually came and came on time! I swear I had to call people everyday to make sure they were there on time and that still didn't work cause we still had some late people! I can honestly say that its not easy being a good host because you always have to make sure the food is hot and every ones drink is refreshed and keep nosey people out the kitchen!But everything went as planned! We served 5 courses and had great conversation once we got that bottle of vodka! I would want to do it again sometime in the far future!!!

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed myself at the dinner party. Very elegant and classy. Good times, good times. Drinks were amazing and the food was good. I liked all the courses. Nothing like making jokes on people was awesome (4 fist pumps in the air)
